Age 63, of Scott Township, unexpectedly, on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Loving husband of Beth (Kilkeary) Markl. Son of the late N. Michael and Nancy Markl. Son-in-law of Jake and Gerry (Klepeis) Kilkeary. Brother-in-law of Coleen (Randy) Mabon, JoAnn Kilkeary, Steve (Renée) Kilkeary, and Kate (Ken) Varhola. Cherished uncle of Matthew (Melissa) Mabon, Kayla Mabon, Connor Reiche, Ella Reiche, Gavin Kilkeary, and Emma Kilkeary. Scott was so blessed to be recently reunited with his sister Debra (Dale) Hunter, his brother Chuck (Rose) Gregory, his sister Janet (Zeke) Zikeli, and their families.
Some of his most cherished memories are his childhood at his Pap's house with all his cousins. He valued family, friends and especially his faith. Scott is known for his kindness, integrity, sense of humor and respect for law enforcement. He loved life, the outdoors, cars and so much more but especially just gathering over great food and a nice glass of wine.
Friends will be received 1-7 p.m. on Friday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish--St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
