John J. Cvetic

Of Beechview, age 86, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019. Beloved husband of Lorraine (Rychcik) Cvetic for 61 years; loving father of John, Michael (Melanie) and Janet; also survived by grandchildren, Nicholas (Patricia) and Christina; brother of the late Frank and William Cvetic; also preceded in death by parents Mary and Frank Cvetic. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps and worked for WDTV, then KDKA-TV for 44 years. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 3, 2019, from 2-8 p.m. at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2019, in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1901 Broadway Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church, Beechview.
