Age 90, of Beechview, passed peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Krestian) Ziemski; loving father of John (Diane), Diane Ziemski (Roy Dohne) and the late Janet Valenta; grandfather of Jamie and Colin Valenta, Jessica Albert, Monica Kilcoyne and Savanna Bell; great-grandfather of Austin, Carlee, Emily, Declan, Iris and Dennis Valenta; brother of Ralph, Josie and the late Vicky, Gertrude, Martha, Mercedes, Rita and Irene. John retired from Kaufmann's department store after working there for 43 years. He loved all of the Pittsburgh sports teams, was an avid bowler and was a coach for the Beechview Little League. He greatly enjoyed going to the casino. John was a devoted husband, father and a man of faith. John and Ann met at the Brashear Settlement when he was a DJ and he danced his way into Ann's heart. A kind and generous man is now reunited in heaven with the love of his life Ann, where they can Jitterbug again. Rest in peace Daddy.
