Agnes Rose (Gargotta) Calabrese

Age 97, of South Side, formerly of Beechview, peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Otello James Calabrese. Loving mother of Adam (Nancy) Calabrese, Agnes (Mark) Podrosky and Fedora (Brian) Phillips. Loving Nana of Amy and Ashley Calabrese (Jason); Shane (Bailey), Cory (Shelby), Brianna Phillips and Ashli (Brody) Gilbert. Cherished Great-Nana of Austin Leong and Cooper Gilbert. Beloved daughter of the late Salvatore and Carmella. Loving sister of the late Josephine Toney; Samuel, Mary, Frances and Joseph Gargotta. Also survived by her special sister-in-law Dee Gargotta. Agnes will be sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m., on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
