Age 76, of Beechview, on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Beloved wife of Gerald R. “Jerry” Chaney. Loving mother of John A. and Patrick G. Chaney. Grandmother of Brandon J. Chaney. Prior to the recent closing of St. Pamphilus Church, Lex was the parish Business Administrator for 38 years. She was classy and sassy, a lover of cats and all things fashionable, a Stone Harbor beachcomber and Pittsburgh Rivers Casino-goer, who’s simple pleasures in life included: reading a good book, working out in the garden, watching some Penguins hockey, and most importantly, time spent with family. She will be sadly missed by many. As per Lex’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh., PA 15216.
