Ann Puskaric Obituary

Age 70, of Ohio Township, formerly Robinson Township, on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Beloved wife of 28 years to the late John Louis Puskaric. Daughter of Dorothy L. (Donatelli) Cibulas and the late Joseph J. Cibulas. Sister of Joseph A. (Marianne) Cibulas and George A. (Mary Anne) Cibulas. Cherished aunt of Allison Cibulas, Rachel (Ethan) Cirinelli, Julia (Greg) McFarlane, George Cibulas, and Andrew (Jennifer) Cibulas. Great aunt and godmother of Alexander Cirinelli.  Ann was one of the first RMU MBA graduates.  Most recently, her career path was at Thermo Fisher Scientific, traveling to Dubai and Costa Rica opening labs combining her love of chemistry and world travel. Ann was the past President and an active member of Pittcon.  Ann was an accomplished chef who enjoyed cooking and entertaining.  She graduated from the Anna Kao School of Chinese Cooking run through the well-known O’Hara Twp. restaurant, “Anna Kao’s Chinese Restaurant.” Ann’s favorite pastime was enjoying a good bottle of wine, antiquing, and being creative in the kitchen.  Friends received 4-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD.2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her father, Joseph J. Cibulas, in the Donatelli Family lot. In lieu of flowers, Ann’s family suggests memorials be made to either Duquesne University, as a scholarship fund is being established in her name, or to Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild Youth & Arts. For Duquesne scholarship funds, the memo line should note that this donation is for the Ann Cibulas Puskaric Scholarship Fund.  This fund will go towards helping other young women advance their studies in the field of chemistry as Ann did.  Donations may be sent to The Advancement Office, Duquesne University, Two Chatham Center Suite 450, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh 15219.  Donations to Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild may be sent to 1815 Metropolitan Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15233 with Ann’s name in the memo line.
