Age 86, of Sun City Center, FL, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away Nov. 27, 2011. Brew was born October 28, 1925 in Hartford, CT. He attended Princeton University prior to joining the U.S. Army and was wounded in action in the Vosges Mountains Campaign, receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. After the service he went to Syracuse University and met his wife of 56 years, Marilyn (Miller) and they wed Sept. 18, 1954. Brew was employed by the Carrier Corporation as a Packaging Engineer for 31 years. Brew is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Miller) Schoch; son, Stephen (Jamie); son Russell; son, Lawrence (Carol); daughter, Laura (Robert Cambest); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his friends and family. Friends received Thursday only from 6-9 p.m. at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine of Siena Church on Friday at 9:30 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, with full military honors.
