Carl A. Fameli

Age 94, of Beechview, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Theresa Mae (Popello) Fameli. Loving father of Dan (Kimberly) Fameli, Diane Marcuson, and Mike Fameli. Grandfather of Jennifer (Michael) Baker, Ryan (Billie) Fameli, and Chelsea (Zach) Grabowski. Great-grandfather of Delaney Baker, Lucas Fameli, Ronnie Fameli, Harper Baker, and Leo Grabowski. Brother of the late Louis Fameli, Joseph Fameli, Matilda Brynes, and Helen De Serno. Carl will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Carl was very proud of his time spent in the military, serving as a Corporal in the United States Army, during the Korean War. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish--St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
