Carmella T. (Guarino) Astorino

Age 91, of Brookline, on Sunday, June 20, 2021, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore “Sam” Astorino. Loving mother of Carolyn (Pasquale) Gaetano and Lisa (Franco) Gualtieri. Grandmother of Anthony, Caroline, David, Sam and Vinnie. Great-grandmother of Matteo, Lila, Noah, Nico, Isaiah, Naomi and Luca. Sister of Mary Jo (the late Barney) DiPofi, Anthony (Joyce) Guarino, and the late Orlando (Diane—still surviving) Guarino, Lou (Erina) Guarino, Isabelle (Robert—still surviving) Ardolino and Eugene Guarino. Daughter of the late Salvatore and Josephine Guarino. Carmella will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends received 3-7 p.m. on Thursday only at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Pius X Church, 3040 Pioneer Ave., Pgh., PA 15226. Burial to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
