Carolina (Folino) DiCello

Age 91, of Beechview, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, passed peacefully with her family by her side. Born May 26, 1929,  in Nicastro, Italy. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Antonio DiCello. Daughter of the late Domenico and Maria (Cimino) Folino. Cherished mother of Maria DiCello Landy, Rosarina (the late Anthony) DeSensi, Pasquale (Tina), Domenico (Cathy) and Luigi (Barbara). Loving grandmother to Joey (Jackie) Landy, John (Megan) DeSensi, Gina (Joe) Walsh and Domenique DiCello. Her precious great-grandchildren Antonio (AJ), Anthony, Josie, Stella, and Siena. Sister of Nick (Gloria), James (Judy), Pete (Anna), and the late Tommaso (surviving wife Teresa), Tony, and Patsy Folino and Gina (Tony) Arzenti, Anna (Ernest) Gigliotti. Sister-in-law of Vincenzo (Teresa) and Rosario (Maria) DiCello and the late Rosarina, Giovanna, Maria, and Pasquale, all of Italy, and many nieces and nephews. Carolina’s family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to all of the doctors and nurses, at Liberty Dialysis, for their wonderful care and compassion. Friends received 2-8 p.m. Sunday only at BRUSCO - NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh., PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial on ­­­Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish, St. Catherine of Siena Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral home is following all CDC guidelines. Therefore, facial masks are required while in the building.
