Age 85, of Beechview, on Monday, November 17, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Donna (Laughlin) Grover. Loving father of Tom (Tammy) Grover, Bobby (Mary) Grover, Linda (the late George) Denes, and the late Tracey (Dave--still surviving) Russo. Pappy of Erin (Dillon), Kris (Kirsty), Tatum (Joshua), Buddy, Maddy, Emie, Eli, Amanda (Mikey), Frank, Rebecca (Chris), and the late baby Jimmy. Great-pappy of Ella, Ava, Owen, Kellan, and Taran. Son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Jackson) Grover. Brother of Joe (the late Sherry) Grover, and the late Marie (Gus) Lescovich, and Seraphine Grover. Frank will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy and dedicated 32 years as a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter. A hardworking family man, he loved all Pittsburgh sports and took great pride in his community. He was also a devoted member of the Beechview Loyal Order of the Moose – Lodge 609. Frank will be remembered for his loyalty, strength, and the many lives he touched through his service and kindness.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Athan Georgiades and staff, and also Dr. Gaurav Goel and staff for the excellent care they gave our Dad for the past three years.
Friends received 2-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21st at 11:30 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
