Gabriella (Rao) Gigliotti

Gabriella Gigliotti, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Beloved wife of Enrico; mother of Ralph (Colleen), Enrico (Megan), and John; grandmother of Landon, Adeline, Cecilia, and Gianna; daughter of Anna and the late Giovanni Rao; daughter-in-law of Ralph and Caroline Gigliotti; sister of Gisella Pietropaolo (Antonio), Rosario Rao (Lori), Anthony Rao, and Gianfranco Rao (Tara); and sister-in-law of Anthony Gigliotti (Margaret), Maria Christopher (David), and Anna Macri (Louis). Also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Her greatest joys were spending time with loved ones and cuddling, playing, and reading with her four treasured grandchildren. She will be remembered for her remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome in her home, her unrivaled baking talents, her steadfast support of others, her optimism and strength in responding to life’s obstacles, and a deep devotion to her Catholic faith. Her legacy will undoubtedly be one of love. She will be deeply missed by many.

Friends received from 3-8 p.m. on Sunday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 12 p.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Entombment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
