Age 88, formerly of Beechview, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Patricia M. (Murphy) Burgess. Loving father of William (Jeanie) Burgess, Kathleen (Thomas) Stangrecki and the late Jeffrey Burgess. Grandfather of Terri, Marc, Audri, and Megan. Great-grandfather of Morgan. Son of the late Andrew and Mary (Healy) Burgess. Brother of the late Jack Burgess, Hugh Burgess, Florence Coyne, Milton Burgess, and Albert Burgess. Jerry will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. As per Jerry's wishes, there is no visitation. Services were held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. In lieu of flowers, Jerry’s family suggests memorials be made to a charity of one's choice.
