Gregory D. Vanucci

Age 92, Green Tree, formerly of Beechview, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 29, 2021. Born on February 19, 1929, in Pittsburgh to the late Deno and Victoria Vanucci. Beloved husband of 63 years to June (Fortunato) Vanucci. Father of Joel Vanucci. Grandfather of Noel Santini and three great grandchildren. Brother of Marie Fenton and the late Ralph, Robert and Charles Vanucci. Brother-in-law of Alberta (Terry) Phillips and Gloria (Willy) Williams. Greg was a Korean War Veteran and was retired from U.S. Steel Sales. A special thanks goes to niece Laurel Phillips and Tracy Ilgenfritz for Greg’s support and loving care. As per Greg’s wishes, services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Greg’s memory to the PAART (Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team).
