Helena M. (Lewicki) Mentzer

Age 93, of Beechview, on Sunday, June 28th, 2020. Born in Pittsburgh’s South Side to the late Boleslaw Lewicki and Karolina Kosniawska. It was also in the South Side, where she later met and married her husband, the late Henry A. Mentzer (Sergeant/U.S. 29th infantry division). Helena was a devoted wife and mother, who was always loving and supportive. Throughout her life, Helena’s family and Catholic faith, remained her greatest of passions. She will be greatly missed by all. Due to the ongoing health concerns, the family has decided to forego visitation and services at this time. Helena will be laid to rest at St. Josaphat Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to BRUSCO - NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
