Irene Marie Aiello, of Pittsburgh, passed away at Marian Manor in Greentree on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the age of 100. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene, in 1995. Also preceded in death by her three brothers, Edward, James and Paul. Irene was employed for many years by Liberty Printing and retired in 1984. Irene was a beloved and cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a “one-of-a-kind” person who was always the model of kindness and graciousness in her lifetime and helped to put the “Great” in the Greatest Generation. Irene was deeply loved by her family, her friends and by everyone else whoever had the pleasure of meeting her. Irene will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her sweet style and loving smile will never be forgotten. Friday, September 4th from 9-10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish, St. Catherine of Siena Church, on Broadway Avenue in Beechview, at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery is private.
