Age 29, of Scott Township, on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Beloved son of Jerrad B. “Jerry” Tuite, Sr. and Eileen M. (McConnell) Tuite. Proud father of Jerrad B. Tuite, III. Loving brother of Molly (Evan) Kelly. Cherished uncle of Noa Sue Kelly. Grandson of Tom and Sue (McGrady) McConnell and the late Bernard and Rita (Schultz) Tuite. Jerrad will be extremely missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Tuite and McConnell families, along with many friends.
Jerrad's gentle spirit embraced everyone—family, friends, and even strangers. So much so, that he is leaving behind an indelible legacy of love by gifting countless lives the miracle of renewed hope through his selfless act of organ donation. As of March 9th, Jerrad’s heart was given to a patient in Massachusetts, his liver to a patient in Philadelphia, his right kidney to a 15-year-old in New York, and left kidney to a patient in Virginia. His family would like to thank the wonderful workers and team members from CORE, the hospital staff at St. Clair Hospital, as well as the outpouring of support they have received from everyone during this extremely difficult time.
Friends will be received 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11th, ONLY at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 12th, at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Cars going in procession to the cemetery will be parked accordingly.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly suggests donations be made to either CORE (Center for Organ Recovery and Education), www.core.org/community/show-your-support/contributions/ OR, to the family for the future of Jerrad, III.
