John J. Buch

Age 78, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Beechview, on Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Beloved husband of Valeria (Renk) Buch; loving father of John A. (Debbie), Dr. Diane BuchBarker, M.D. (Robert Barker), and Jim (Virginia) Buch; grandfather of Emily, Stephen, and Jonathan Buch, Amy and Samantha Barker, and Ben and Megan Buch; brother of Sis Cristiano and the late Robert and William Buch; son of the late Walter and Margaret (Haley) Buch. Mr. Buch was a retired Police Lieutenant for the City of Pittsburgh, retiring after over 30 years of service. He was also a member of the John A. Brashear Lodge # 743. Friends received Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Pamphilus Church. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Light the Night Walk (Team WPAON), 333 East Carson St., Suite 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
