John R. Malicky, age 65, of Beechview, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. He was born November 22, 1956, in Milwaukee, WI. Beloved son of the late John and Eleanor (Troiani) Malicky, his death will be heart-felt by many loving cousins and friends. John was a great listener and deeply empathetic. For the past seven (7) years John has worked as a media conversion specialist converting film to digital media for Dream Catchers Films in Dormont. He also worked at Kuhn’s Market, Banksville Road.
Though John was not married, we all considered him an integral part of our families. His cousin Leonard A. Lies, was like a brother, and wife Filomena A. (Merante) Lies, welcomed seeing John at holiday dinners.
