Age 74, of Pleasant Hills, on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Husband of Metta A. (Ziviello) Majernik. Loving father of Lauren R. Majernik. Stepfather of Sharon R. Martin. Step-grandfather of Avery and Preston Kossler. Joe was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1966 at Ft. Benning, GA. He served overseas in Korea during the Vietnam War from November 1966 to April 1968. He was awarded the Marksman Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. As per Joe’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend a military service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, on June 15, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216.
