Joseph W. "Butch" Tardio, Sr.

Age 72, of Beechview, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Beloved wife of Rita R. (Seifert) Tardio. Loving father Rita Marie Tardio, Joseph W. (Megan) Tardio, Jr., Patrick (Danielle) Tardio, Melissa Tardio, and Cindy (Vicki Hanna) Springel. Cherished Pop of Brandon (Ashley) Tardio, Jessica Tardio, Shane Daly, Sara Tardio, Steven Calhoun, Kylee Tardio, Conner Tardio, Hannah Tardio, Marcus Tardio, and Matthew Tardio. Great-pop of Hayden Tardio, Layne Daly, and Edward “Tre” Montgomery. Brother of Ella Gallo, Julie King, and Patty Tardio. Joe will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends received from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 12 p.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Pius X Church, 3040 Pioneer Ave., Pgh, PA 15226. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery with full military honors.
