Josephine A. "Aunt Jo" (Greco) Murgi

Age 93, of Beechview, on Friday, September 24, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Alfred T. Murgi. Daughter of the late Nicola and Teresa (Callippo) Greco. Loving sister of Nick Greco and the late Anunzatia “Nunzi” Mongello, Rose Juliano, Dominick “Moe”, Frank “Angie”, Elizabeth “Lee”, Gregory “Grado”, Concetta “Connie”, Stella, and Tony “Dicky” Greco. She was an aunt to many, but especially, a very special and cherished aunt to Tina Greco, who has been by Aunt Jo’s side for the last 15 years. Friends received Monday 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Pius X Church, 3040 Pioneer Ave., Pgh, PA 15226. Following mass, Aunt Jo will be laid to rest next to her husband, Al, in Calvary Cemetery.
