Linda A. Meinert

Age 70, of Brookline, formerly of Beechview, passed away in the comfort of her home, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Daughter of the late Kenneth J. and Elsie M. (Fasola) Meinert. Beloved sister of Karen M. (Alex “Jock”, III) Maxwell. Cherished aunt of Michelle L. (John) Friend, Jennifer M. (Carolyn) Maxwell and Alexander H., IV (Amanda) Maxwell. Loving great aunt of John, Joseph, Elizabeth, Nicholas, and Hunter Friend; Madison, Alex, V., Ava and Aleah Maxwell. Linda will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, especially her most cherished dog, Bella.

Linda was a dedicated, hard-working secretary for the Chief of Police, for the City of Pittsburgh for over 22 years.

Family & friends received on Friday, August 15th, from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m., BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh., PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16th, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish – St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh., PA 15216. Entombment to immediately follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
