Age 94, of Beechview, on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Beloved husband of 56 years to the late Angelina E. “Angie” (Brutico) Pasquinelli. Loving father of Lawrence (Cynthia), Louis (Donna) and Luann (Glenn) Groll. Grandfather of Nick (Jami) Pasquinelli, Justin (Jamie) Pasquinelli, Ashley (Jeff) Shaffer, Shane (Liz) Pasquinelli, Alexander, Andrew and Miranda Groll. Great-grandfather of Mia, Lex, Landon and Caleb. Brother of the late Lawrence (Joanne) Pasquinelli. Son of the late Emilio and Angelina (Farrulli) Pasquinelli. Brother-in-law of George (the late Bessie) Koch. Lou will be dearly missed by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Lou served during World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from Sears Roebuck after 42 years. Lou was an active member of St. Pamphilus Church with bingo, the church festivals and as an usher during mass, as well as, the Most Holy Name Society and Meals on Wheels. St. Pamphilus awarded him with the Manifesting the Kingdom Award for his outstanding and faithful volunteer service over the years. The family would like to thank the staff at Elmcroft of Bridgeville for their care and support over the years. And also a special thanks to Pilgrimage Hospice for their support. Lou’s visitation will be held privately for his family. However, the family would like to invite everyone to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pgh, PA 15212.
