Michael J. Coldren, age 59, of Rennerdale, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Beloved father of Alexa (Jordan) Mey and cherished “Pappy” to Calvin Mey and his grand-dog, Remi. Loving brother of Robert C.(Maralyn) Coldren, Eileen Cole, and Lynn (Joseph) Pelcz. Uncle of Brian Cole, David (Kim) Cole, Kristen (Steve) Adams, Daniel Cole, Michelle Cole, and Kevin Cole. He was the son of the late Robert E. Coldren and Eleanor (Morrison) Coldren.
Mike was known for his unwavering work ethic, faith, and commitment to serving others. He was passionate about disaster relief and made multiple volunteer trips to support victims of national tragedies, including the EF5 tornado in Joplin, Missouri, and Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey.
With nearly 40 years of dedication to Giant Eagle, Mike was a respected leader both professionally and personally. He lived by the guiding principles: "Do the right thing" and "All you have is your word."
His greatest joy came from time spent with his grandson, Calvin, his “Little Man” and “Buddha", as well as his loyal companion, Remi, who will surely miss his weekly knee bones, biscuits, and ice cream treats.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mike’s life on Sunday, July 20, 2025, between 12 PM to 3 PM at Settlers Cabin Park – Mohawk Pavilion. Join us for lunch, memories, and to honor the incredible impact Mike made on all who knew him. Arrangements are entrusted to BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
