Age 55, of Castle Shannon, formerly of Dormont, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Loving father of Michael and Max McGee; beloved son of Mitzi and the late William J. McGee, Jr.; boyfriend of Gina Simon; brother of Patty McGee, Cheryl (John) Symak, Suzanne (Tom) Petr, Amy (Jack) Beck, Eileen (Ed) McCabe, Judy (Marty) Lucas, Christopher (Shannon) McGee; also many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Michael was a devoted machinist of MSA for over 35 years with a strong work ethic. Michael will be sadly missed by his wrestling family. Coach McGee also volunteered much of his time over the years to coaching football, soccer, baseball, and wrestling. He influenced many young lives with his discipline, encouragement, and care. His life motto "Stay Strong" is an example and will be remembered by all. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anne Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Keystone Oaks Wrestling Boosters.
