Micheline R. Poerio

Age 92, of Beechview, passed peacefully at Marian Manor on Monday, February 13, 2012. Daughter of the late Thomas and Carmella (Bucceri) Grande; wife of the late Joseph R. Poerio, Sr.; beloved mother of James and Joseph, Jr. (Paula); loving grandmother of Wayne (Grace), Pammy (Robert) Pieretti, Bryan (Emily), and Lisa Poerio Shimek (Cody); proud great-grandmother of Paige, Marco, Mario, Anna, Alexander and Nicholas; sister of Louis Grande, Mary Palazzo and the late Joseph, Dominick and Samuel Grande and Josephine Servadio. Friends received 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Additional visitation Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial in the Marion Manor Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery will be private. In appreciation for the eight years of loving care from the administration and staff of Marian Manor the family is asking that in lieu of flowers make contributions to Marian Manor Activity Department and in lieu of mass cards make contributions for masses to Marian Manor, 2695 Winchester Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15220, Attn: Sister Eileen.
