Age 83, of Beechview, on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Beloved husband of Janet L. (Mason) Tropeano of 65 years. Loving father of Julia (Bob) Deighan, John (Gloria) Tropeano and Jim (Kerri) Tropeano. Grandfather of Brian Deighan, Kevin (Cara) Deighan, John (Emily) Tropeano, Jr., Jamie (Tyler Zaremski—fiancé) Tropeano, and Brooklyn Daniels. Great-grandfather of Adalyn Nicole Deighan and Wyatt John Tropeano. Son of the late Francis J. and Rose (Stasko) Tropeano. Cousin of Linda (Bob) Riemenschneider Todd, whom was like a sister to him. He will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Ralph was known as the family and neighborhood handyman, who was always willing to share his expertise, advice and immeasurable knowledge. He was employed at Heinz for 40 years, where he created many life-long friendships. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Ralph and Janet loved traveling the world, especially after his retirement, where they would “snowbird” and spend the winter months in the Florida sun. It was along their journeys that they were able to create many lasting friendships. However, Ralph never missed an opportunity that he could spend time with his family. No matter how close or how far, he loved spending as much time with them as possible. Due to the ongoing and current COVID concerns, Ralph’s family has decided to make his services and entombment, in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, private. They plan to arrange a celebration of life for Ralph at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216.
