Age 37, of Dormont, on Sunday, July 19, 2020, sadly and unexpectedly, God decided it was Ray’s time. Cherished son of Caprice (Blasco) Dallas and stepson of Mark Dallas. Beloved brother of Rafalena (Chris) Lloyd. Loving father of Timothy. Uncle of Maddie, Kaden, and Jacob. Nephew of Diane DeSiderio and the late Nicholas Blasco. Longtime companion of Michelle Reiter, and their two adorable kitties, Fredo and Luca Brasi. Ray will be sadly missed by numerous cousins and friends.
A native of Dormont, Ray was a graduate of Keystone Oaks High School and later attended community college in Pittsburgh. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed weightlifting. Throughout life Ray overcame many obstacles, but his determination and will to improve himself, surpassed those obstacles. His ambition to succeed made it possible to accomplish anything he put his mind to. He was extremely kindhearted and had an immeasurable love for family. That love stemmed from the strong set of familial values instilled by his grandparents, Philip and Mary Jane Blasco, whom he greatly loved and admired. For which, they adored and loved him beyond measure. As the kindhearted person he was, Ray was the type who never hesitated to help a person in need. Ray was undoubtedly a smart, ambitious, quick-witted, polite person with a unique sense of humor. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 24th from 2-4 p.m. at BRUSCO - NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Inurnment will be private for the family.
