Age 93, of Robinson Township, formerly of Elliott, on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Beloved husband of 67 years to Ann M. (Vucick) Fischer. Loving father of Susan (Joe) Matuszewski, Lisa (John) Buccilli and Lori (Dave) Knudsen. Cherished Pap of Gregory (Alex), Katie (Rob) and Jenny (Mickey). Great-grandfather of Aiden, Ophelia and Miles. Son of the late Norman and Minnie (Lambert). Ray proudly served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. In addition to his service in the Coast Guard, Ray was employed by the City of Pittsburgh for over 30 years and retired as Superintendent of the Land & Buildings Department. Ray will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. As per Ray’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 310 Mansfield Ave., Pgh., PA 15220. Ray will be laid to rest with full military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Burial will be private to the family.
