Richard D. Bretcko

Richard “Rich” Bretcko, age 70, of Bethel Park PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 18, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Beth Anne (Obiecunas) Bretcko of whom he adored; loving brother of David and the late Michael Bretcko, Jr.; son of the late Rose and Michael Bretcko, Sr.  Rich is also survived by sister-in-law Joan and her husband Robert Jackson, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rich graduated from Westinghouse Memorial High School in 1968 and often spoke of the great memories he had of his childhood. As a young man, Rich served in the National Guard and his outgoing personality lead him to career in sales. He worked for H B Parke for years until he found a home working for Graco. During his time at Graco, Rich made many lasting friendships and received awards from the company for his outstanding performance. Rich was a friend to everybody. He had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. Rich truly was one in a million who touched many lives and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends received Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until time of Blessing Service at 7:30 p.m. at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Richard's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org.
