Richard J. Walsh

Age 63, of Elliott, unexpectedly, on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Beloved husband of Jennifer E. Eichhorn. Loving brother of Karen Byerly, Bill (Jan) Walsh, Steve (Dee) Walsh, Jean (the late Rob) Steenson, Cathy (the late Joe) Kvederis, and Teresa (Mitch) Cholewinski. Son of the late William and Mary Walsh. Brother-in-law of Gretchen (Dave) Runkle. Rick will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and especially his dog, Spot. Rick was a long-time HVAC Parts Manager for Trane and Tobey-Karg Service. He was a Penn State Extension Master Gardener, an instructor for Dale Carnegie, and a huge Pitt Football fan. Friends received from 3 p.m. until time of closing prayer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6th, at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Penn State Extension Master Gardner Program, www.extension.psu.edu/programs/master-gardener.
