Rita E. (Lutz) Yakel

Age 95, of Vanadium Woods, formerly of Beechview, on Monday, March 1, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Yakel. Loving mother of Janet (Earl) Hottel and Donna Smithton. Grandmother of Thomas, Heather and Shari. Four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Sister of the late Anna Rush, Dorothy Schnupp, Jack Lutz and Lois Sisler. Friends received from 2 p.m. until time of Blessing Service at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 4th at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church (St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish), 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216.
