Rocco Zekas

Age 73, of Beechview, passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Rocco was the son of the late Rocco and Bernice (Wrobleski) Zekas. Beloved husband of 41 years to the late Kathleen M. (Boehm) Zekas. Loving father of Andrea, Rocco and Justin Zekas. Cherished brother of Gloria (Chuck) Vidak, Ann (Al) Wong, Janet (Frank) Cristiano, Carol Heck, Anthony “Tony” (Tina) Zekas, Charlotte Zekas and the late Barbara Artzberger, Theresa Hentz, Joanne “Tiny” Zekas and Michael (surviving spouse, Carla) Zekas. Rocco will be dearly missed by his loving aunt, Anita Moore; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his beloved dog, Bo.

As per Rocco’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216.
