Rocco Zekas

Age 73, of Beechview, passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Rocco was the son of the late Rocco and Bernice (Wrobleski) Zekas. Beloved husband of 41 years to the late Kathleen M. (Boehm) Zekas. Loving father of Andrea, Rocco and Justin Zekas. Cherished brother of Gloria (Chuck) Vidak, Ann (Al) Wong, Janet (Frank) Cristiano, Carol Heck, Anthony “Tony” (Tina) Zekas, Charlotte Zekas and the late Barbara Artzberger, Theresa Hentz, Joanne “Tiny” Zekas and Michael (surviving spouse, Carla) Zekas. Rocco will be dearly missed by his loving aunt, Anita Moore; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his beloved dog, Bo.

As per Rocco’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish—St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. Burial to follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, 1507 Hamilton Rd., Pgh, PA 15234. Arrangements entrusted to BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216.
