SERVICES FOR ROSA HAVE BEEN CHANGED.
PLEASE SEE THE NEW SERVICE DAYS & TIMES BELOW.
Age 88, of Dormont, passed peacefully in her home, on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Born on October 17, 1933, in Sersale, Catanzaro, Italy to the late Carmine and Maria (Corabi) Gabriele. Beloved wife of the late Vincent C. Mancuso. Loving mother of Frank (Jean) Mancuso, Carmen (Judi) Mancuso, and Mary Teresa (Frank) Arzenti. Proud Nana of Vincent (fiancée Korynn Stoyanoff) Mancuso, Rosa (fiancé Mike Reilly) Arzenti, Toni (Chris) Perez, and Thomas Arzenti. Sister of the late Pasquale, Antonio, Francesco, and Philomena of Italy and Caterina of New Jersey.
Rosa was a kind and gentle woman and will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. She married Vincent in 1952 and came to the United States in January of 1953 on the maiden voyage of the Andrea Doria. After her husband passed away, Rosa went to work for Lachina Drapery. She was a faithful employee there for 40 years, where she created and produced many beautiful window treatments. Her greatest joy in life was when her family was gathered all around her dinner table during holidays and special occasions.
The family would like to thank Doctors John Love and Mario Fatigati and their staffs for all they did for her over the years. A very special thank you to Dr. Edward Kaliman and his nurse Lisa for the wonderful care, compassion and respect they showed her for many years.
Friends received from 12-6 p.m. on Sunday at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh, PA 15216. There will no longer be any visitation or services on Monday.
