Age 98, of Beechview, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.Wife of the late Vincent Dabecco; beloved mother of Vincent (Mary), Robert (Anne), Daniel (Lucine) and the late Richard Dabecco. Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Rosemary, a.k.a “Brownie”, originally of Uniontown, began her nursing career through a Navy cadet program at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital on the South Side. She retired from Jefferson Hospital at age 65, but with still a lot of zest left in her, she took a job at Fair Oaks Senior Living in Beechview and worked there until she was 89. Rosemary was known for her sweetness, like all of the local bakeries she frequented. She was always up for a card game, picnic, or party with family and friends. Most of all, she loved her Saturday Service, Sunday sauce, and Pittsburgh sports --- any time of the week. Rosemary will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
