Age, 90, formerly of Beechview, on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Born on March 29, 1931 to loving parents, Enrico and Anna (Folino) Arzenti in Nicastro, Italy, Tom came to Pittsburgh in 1947. He learned a new language, a trade, and prospered in America. He married the late Jean (Presto) in 1958 enjoying 51 years of a loving marriage until her passing. Tom is survived by a sister, Caroline (Ralph) Gigliotti and had three other siblings: Teresa (Tom) Caruso, Maria (Francesco) DeSensi, and Anthony (Gina still surviving). Tom was proud to provide a loving home for his four sons and to be able to send them through college: Thomas (Elaine), Anthony (Tina), Frank (Mary Teresa), and John (Anne Marie). Tom was also thrilled to be called “Pap” by four grandchildren, Rosa (Mike Reilly), Rachel (Ronald Dean), Tom and the late Joe (Breanna still surviving) Arzenti, along with two great grandchildren, Ronald and Ryleigh Dean. His character was epitomized by the virtues of hard work, the value of education, and the saying, “Still waters run deep.” As a humble and exceptionally intelligent man, he enjoyed playing cards, keeping his garden, and especially working with his hands.
