Thomas Meehan Obituary

Age 84, of Green Tree, formerly of the West End, on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Beloved husband of 60 years to Shirley (Maffeo) Meehan; cherished father of Cindy (Paul) Kovach, James (Gloria) and the late Tom Meehan, Jr.; beloved "pap" of Jim and Amanda Meehan; brother of Paul and the late Joe, Rich, and Mike Meehan. Tom proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS New Jersey; was a barber in the West End, and worked for the City of Pittsburgh. He was loved and will be sadly missed by his family. Friends received 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial in Guardian Angels Parish on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Martin Cemetery with full military honors
