My final flight ended on November 27, 2018. It was an adventurous 55 year journey. I was fortunate enough to have had a flight control tower monitored very closely by my parents Henry (deceased) and Dolores. My flight crew consisted of my siblings Donna (David), Alan, Marietta a.k.a LaLa, Candice (niece) and my favorite little navigator, my grandnephew Colton. I must admit, my co-pilot Donna, kept me from crashing short of the runway many times! My ground crew consisted of the best RC plane aviators in modern history, the "GYPSEY MOTH FLIERS." Some of my wingmen/women included: Jim B., Dan B., Jon B., Mark C., Bob F., Brian G., GMF, Bill G., John G., Tony H., Pete L., Joe N., Ken P., Duke R., Mark W., Gene S., Richard E., John H., Regina, Kathy B., Maryann. When I flew with them, I felt like I could soar safely up into the wild blue yonder and back. Another part of my ground crew kept me in top physical shape. They include Al and the staff at Benihana's, special friend Wendy, McDonald's, Morton's, Molly's Pizza… to name a few. My last flight flew me beyond the stars to my Dad, my beloved dog Bart, and many other relatives and friends. The flight was absolutely amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer, but God called me to active duty to help manage the aviation operations in Heaven… So I bid you all… "RODGER THAT… OVER AND OUT." P.S.-whenever you see a shooting star in the sky, know it's me doing a test run for future adventures. Donations in my memory may be sent to Baptist Homes at 489 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. Arrangements are entrusted by BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh., PA 15216.
