Wendy A. (Cline) Abate

Age 71, lifelong resident of Beechview, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Beloved wife of 51 years to Michael R. Abate. Loving mother of Joyce Abate, Darrin Abate, Melissa (Anthony) Davin and the late Dwayne R. Abate. Cherished Grammy of Andrew and Xavier Davin. Sister of Paula Cline, William (Linda) Cline, Gregory Cline and the late Dennis (surviving Wendy) Cline. Wendy is also preceded in death by her parents, Harry E. and Regina (Connolly) Cline. Wendy enjoyed going to the casino, bowling and spending time with her beloved family. Wendy will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish, St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1810 Belasco Ave., Pgh., PA 15216. Interment for Wendy to immediately follow in Calvary Cemetery.
